Phil Caldwell and wife Julie were founders of Caldwell Mortgage Finance Limited, which started as a home based business in May 2003.

In 2005 Phil was named New Zealand Mortgage Broker of the Year, beating over 800 other candidates around the country for the industry’s most prestigious award, and has continued to be a finalist every year since.

In September 2009 we decided it was time for a change and so took on a business partner, Matt Edwards, moved to a brand new premise and completely changed our whole look. Hence the end of Caldwell Mortgage Finance, and the beginning of The Lime Group (2009) Limited.

The change of name also enabled us to restructure the company to encompass mortgage finance and competitive risk and insurance products under the one roof.
